New Doe Barn Project- part 3

Back before county fair, we made another little step forward in the new doe barn project. Treasure madesure to check out the quality of the work, even though we have quite a bit left to do!

We added the shorter skid panel which will be the wall of the barn inside of the pen, enclosing the area for the roof. We have the roof trusses, but need to pick up one more upright before they go on. Until then, the camouflage netting will give the does shade.

I think Wyatt's favorite part of all the helping with the goats is playing with the level and the cool power tools that normally sit in the workshop.

The girls- especially Treasure- love to be the quality control inspectors.

In the end, Glory, Treasure and Verse check every corner, and have me thinking they need their own levels. This project has a lot of work left ahead on it, but the goal in the next week is the additional upright, the cross braces and the roof trusses.

The update post may not make it up right away, but we need to make forward progress on a number of these before the Summer arrives here, and especially to work out any bugs before the monsoons arrive, but hte last two weeks have brought crazy winds and we will have to take advantage of any quiet moments to get back on track.

I will share more when I can!
