Saturday was National French Fry Day. OK, so we really don't need another excuse to glorify junk food, that is true. But fries are most definitely not an everyday food, so we all had a debate about who had good fries to stop at on the way home from a great party at Kate's house.
In the end, we went with McDonald's, since we could have ketchup and barbecue sauce. Bailey didn't want her picture taken, and Wyatt didn't want to stop enjoying long enough to have his done! But ya gotta document the goofies in case they tell me next week that we never do anything fun, right?
There was an absolutely beautiful shy as the sun set Saturday. Funny how the rain had managed to go around the pool party for our friend Abbey, and leave things cool(er) and beautiful!
Since the kids were headed off to camp on Sunday, and Bailey's birthday was Monday, we pulled out Bailey's special ice cream cake Saturday night!
Toffe Crunch, Oreos, Chocolate Brownie Fudge, Chocolate Sprinkles, Caramel and Chocolate Fudge, and Chocolate Cookie Crust- her own special order!
The kids and I had gotten a bit done with the Buckeye pen project, and I bought more supplies to work on it Monday. Lots going on around here!!!
